Why homeowners and businesses around Rome choose Fabco
- We design, fabricate and install. One shop handles the whole job, from the on-site consultation and design through fabrication and installation, so nothing gets lost between a designer, a welder and an installer.
- A real shop and showroom. Our offices, showroom, gallery and fabrication facilities in Cave Spring add up to more than 16,000 square feet of combined space. That’s large enough to handle most commercial projects, yet small enough to give you our personal attention.
- Many materials under one roof. We work with cast iron, steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, bronze and wood, so the material fits the job rather than the other way around.
- Residential, commercial and industrial. Driveway gates and porch rails, plus church memorial gardens, park railings, site furnishings and custom racks for businesses.
- In business for more than 40 years, with a 5.0-star rating on Google and an A+ rating from the BBB.

★★★★★
“Jimmy has done a lot of projects for us. From building and installing our ornamental mailbox and aluminum flagpole. Jimmy did some alterations to our metal bar stools. Came back to us looking like new with our modifications. He has also repaired a few utility trailers for us that no one in Rome wanted to mess with. He has the expertise and equipment to build or repair anything metal! We recommended him to friends who had him build stair rails and gates. I have nothing but praise for his work.”

“Fabco: I had worked with Jimmy several years ago on replacing the rudders for the 90-year-old paddle boat the Myra H which is now on display at Ridge Ferry Park. The vessel needed more work and so I once again called on Jimmy for help. The boat rests on a cradle about twelve feet off the ground and it needed a strong railing for safety. Jimmy created a fence that protects visitors from falling but does not take away from the overall image of the boat. We also needed to create gate to allow limited access to the boat from the Tree House already at the park. The end results is an elegant gate with the name MYRA H -1932 on the doors. We could not be more pleased with the end results. The pieces Fabco created enhance the Myra H and will be around for many years. On a side note, my wife has been asking me about a trellis for our house. Once again, I called on Jimmy with Fabco for advice. He met us at our home and discussed what she had in mind. A few weeks later Fabco was there installing the trellis. I cannot say enough good things about their workmanship. Jimmy and his crew came to our site and looked at our project. We all discussed the problems and concerns then Fabco came back with a solution. If you are needing iron work done on a home or business project, I highly recommend Jimmy Birdsong and Fabco.
